Christmas Music right now???
Whatever happened to waiting till after Thanksgiving??? I think it's too early for XMAS music and items in stores inside the warehouse and XMAS commericals!! Yes, I have already seen on.
I do like XMAS, but stores, radio and TV stations are going to make me dislike XMAS and ceomce a total Scrooge!!
What do you think? When should they put out XMAS stuffs like that? Well, I chose "After Thanksgiving" option!

Re: Christmas Music right now???
I think they should at LEAST wait until after Halloween, because once Halloween's over that's what I'm going to be thinking about. I've already seen some Christmas stuff out at the dollar tree though. o.o
In some ways I feel like they completely skip over thanksgiving...but it looks to me like thanksgiving gets lumped into the harvest decor which generally also goes with the Halloween stuff. So yeah o.o

This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

Hell yeah!!!
When my girlfriend and I walked around the corner of the street, we were taking a good walk and chat together, so when the car drove by us, that guy was playing XMAS music on the radio! He was kinda like hillbillie with beard on his face - but he has no mustache!!! He looked really funny to me!! He almost looked like Abraham Lincoln! Can you imgaine that??? I told my girlfriend about that guy, she laughed so hard! When something appeared in my mind saying, "WTF??? This is September, Not December!!!" Maybe that guy has memory loss! hahahahaha!

Re: Christmas Music right now???
That's another loaded question. It drives me nuts some times when I hear Christmas music or see Christmas tv comercials in October. I very much enjoy Halloween, and wish people would wait until it was closer to december before they break out the Christmas records and CDs.
On the other hand, I do break out the Christmas music on the day I start doing my Christmas cleaning which is usualy a little before Thanksgiving. It's allways been our family tradition to kick off the Christmas season on the day before Thanksgiving, and have Christmas music playing during Thanksgiving dinner. We usualy get together at my house for Thanksgiving, and I play a mixed bag of Christmas and other music.
The most significant Christmas tradition that I observe during the Thanksgiving weekend is that very often the first Sunday of Advent is the very Sunday after Thanksgiving, and I am very sure that I have the advent wreath ready for that day, and I do light the advent wreath every day of Advent that I happen to be home for dinner.

You know . . . other people would say the same thing about Halloween stuff. I remember seeing some Halloween stuff at Michaels in June!! Christmas can be in the stores in September, I don't care. Just keep it away from the Halloween section and wait until closer to Thanksgiving before it is shoved down our throats and shoppers are forced to listen to the Christmas musak!!

Re: Christmas Music right now???
Seeing as how they cram months worth of Christmas music into December alone, I'd say I wouldn't want to hear any until after Thanksgiving. That's just me though. I'm sure there are Xmas nuts, just like there are Halloween ones, that want to hear it a lot sooner.

That's a good point, Spookshadow but there's an old saying. "To each his own." Of course, I don't mind a little Halloween in September, but June is sort of pushing it a bit. I do plant pumpkins in May, but that's only because they grow during the Summer time.
As for Christmas music, I'm sort of "ify" about when to dig out the Christmas music and Christmas videos. I usualy prefer to wait until Thanksgiving before I start in ernest on playing Christmas music, but if you were to come to my house in mid November while I was doing my Christmas Cleaning, you would hear Christmas music, and since it's my turn to host Thanksgiving dinner at my housee this year, I will be starting my cleaning this very weekend and through the next two weeks, so as early as this Friday, the sounds of Bing Crosby singing "Adeste Fideles" or the Border Brass's renditon of "Tijuana Christmas" just might trickle from my door way.
