Suggestions on making a skull glow in a blacklight

Hi All,

I just finished building a static ghost using a foam skull and tulle. The tulle glows beautifully under the blacklight, but the foam skull does not. At first, I liked the "missing head" look but have since decided that I'd rather be able to see the head. Any suggestions on what I can use to get the skull to glow under the blacklight? My first thought was flourescent paint, but I could only find bright colors (orange, pink, yellow, etc.) I want the head to glow white/blue like the tulle so I'm at a loss. Help please:)

How bizzare!

I was experimenting with several glow paints last month to make...A FABRIC GHOST!!

I had used Tulip brand puff (dimensional) paint on a styrofoam ball while waiting for some fabric to dry and it looks great in the dark.

This is what the bottle looks like. You can buy it at Michael's Jo-Ann fabrics, etc.

I also tried one made by Decoart http://www.misterart.com/g4251/DecoArt- ... mc_id=4251

The difference is that Tulip glows much brighter initially, but Decoart glows far longer and consistently, but both glow under black light.

Have you thought about carving it out so it is hallow and placing a strobe light inside? That will give you the dark and random light if you place to speed on low... :)

Try wild fires blue paint. (wildfirefx.com). Its the best stuff. You can also buy some glow in the dark latex paint from places like walmart, home deopt etc in the paint department.
