I get Post and Pre Halloween blues. Or maybe it's a severe case of Post Halloween blues. All year I look forward to Fall and Halloween. When it's over I just kind of deflate. That's one reason I started decorating the first week of August this year. I have a little more time to savor Fall and Hallow...

Tons of places already have Halloween stuff. Ok, well maybe not tons. Walgreens, Michael's, Tuesday Mornining, Big Lots and some local grocery stores already have their stuff out.

I already started decorating, I know it's early..........but I really don't care. :D

I think I'm a purist when it comes to caramel apples. I don't know if I would like chocolate. My only worry is that I'll find a wonderful recipe and be able to make caramel apples all year round. I would have them for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks 365 days a year.

Caramel Apples

I'm looking for a really good caramel apple recipe. The ready made ones I buy at the market are always moldy or rotten on the inside.

Is it better to use a premade dip or to melt your own caramel? I would love to see some favorite recipes.
