Hey,
I changed my ghost story from www.whendarknesscomes.com to
www.scareme.us
It's a better, catchy name I think.
I hope to start dropping by here more often now that my writing has slowed down a bit.

I have been away for some time
Hello ghost lovers! Life sure has been hectic for me since I was an avid poster here sharing my ghost stories. I also write western frontier eBooks of which they aren't even remotely connected genre wise LOL! But a writer has no say so in what his muse inspires him or her to write. I first picked up...

The Ghostly Painting!
The Ghostly Painting! As an artist I’m inspired by my surroundings when it comes to setting up my easel, brushes and tubes of oil paints. I felt the ocean calling me and I turned to the web hoping to find a cottage or cabin near the seashore I could rent for the summer. Highway 101 went from ...

Leave This Forest Now!
Leave This Forest Now! Deep in the Olympic Mountains in western Washington on May 23, 2012 just before dawn six four wheel drive trucks stopped in front of the Forest Road #231 gate. The driver of the lead vehicle got out and in the glare of his headlights; he used his bolt cutters to cut off the he...

She Awaits Her Ghostly Lover!
She Awaits Her Ghostly Lover! It's been so long since someone's held me I'd forgotten what shivers felt like as your warm lips teased my neck. My arms pulled you closer, so much closer, so close I could feel your heart beating against mine. As our lips touched I felt electricity, oh my God! I want m...

A Second Chance
A Second Chance! Sometimes when someone dies and is given their ‘wings’, there’s a catch. When John Taylor died on May 16, 1967 at the age of 40 at home just before breakfast from a heart attack he was in for another shock. When he had ascended the steps to heaven’s gate, ...

Re: You Came Back!
Hello: Though I have written ghost stories and continue to do so, Western frontier eBooks are the genre I have crossed over too. I know that's pretty odd going from ghost stories to cowboy books. The turth is I wrote four westerns in 2011, 6 more books in 2012 and just finished my 11th book a couple...

Re: You Came Back!
Most days Mary sat in the corner of the living room staring at the front door with her knees pulled up to her chin scared to death. Mary was afraid to sleep because when she did, Shona’s murder and her last words screamed out in her nightmares. Mary was losing weight quickly and her mind too....

You Came Back! Shona and Mary Leah were twin sisters living in Olympia, Washington in 1974. They shared an apartment together and at the age of 35 found themselves attending computer classes at St. Martin’s College. They were taking computer classes at night and hoped after graduation to get ...

I Shouldn't Have Taken That Bus Trip!
I Shouldn’t Have Taken That Bus Trip! It was 2:15 a.m. as I sat on the metal bench of the Portland, Oregon Greyhound bus station waiting for the southbound bus for California to arrive. At 2:30, I’d be able to take a seat close to the front of the bus hopefully so I could get some slee...

A Grandmother’s Love! June Atwood was 23 years old and working in the only café in Salina, Kansas when the army soldier came walking through the front door carrying the green duffle bag over his shoulder and sat down at a nearby table. As she shyly glanced over at him she saw the greyhound...

Re: If I Ever Escape This Place!
Finally her light shone on the side of a box and she read the word ‘Mirrors’. She put her flashlight under her left arm and with both hands ripped the cardboard box open. She lifted up the first mirror and turned it over. It looked just like the mirror she had seen fall on the sink upst...

Re: If I Ever Escape This Place!
When she stumbled and fell face down on the padded floor she tried to turn herself over but couldn’t and she closed her eyes. Time held no meaning now for Tamara as her memories replayed all that had happened in the sanitarium. When she came too she felt groggy and she used what little streng...

Re: If I Ever Escape This Place!
The light from Tamara’s flashlight lit up the box and she ran over to it and knelt down. With the flashlight stuck under her arm pit, she grabbed the bag of beef jerky and used her teeth to tear it open. As she hurriedly chewed, she glanced over at Winsom and saw sadness in her eyes. “I...
