Haunts in Ohio

I think that what we should all do is begin posts about haunts in our own regions. I actually go to three different states on most Halloweens, but Ohio is where I have done the most. Here's a list of the haunts I've been to in Ohio: The Experience - Columbus Cooper Stadium - Columbus Dead Acres - Co...

Re: America's Best Haunts

I've been wantong to go to Universal Horror Nights for years. This year I was going, but the friend I usually go to haunted houses with is going to China instead!

I mean, c'mon! There's no good haunted houses in China!

Re: America's Best Haunts

I always take those "best haunt" lists with a grain of salt. I think they're good for the haunt industry but don't help us regular visitors too much, especially if you don't live anywhere near the haunts they list. Maybe we should all start talking more about our favorite haunts and the st...

Re: spooky town

I like the Spooky Town stuff, A LOT! Unfortunately, my Halloween budget doesn't allow for me to buy them because they are just THAT much too expensive. But if I had the money, I'd buy them all cause they're pretty darn cool.

Did anybody see the bootleg trailer that was up a couple of weeks ago? It looks AWESOME. Very reminiscent of the original.

The Experience: Haunted Attraction

This was without a doubt one of the best haunted attractions I've ever been to. Located near Columbus, OH, it was all outdoors on a small path in the woods. They had some of the most effective yet simple effects I've ever seen. Unfortunately, they closed early last year and look to be closed this ye...

Re: When do you start decorating ?

I think that, at least for the outdoors, one should not begin decorating at least until September 21st, the fall equinox, or risk upsetting the neighbors. I myself don't like to put up decorations until October 1st and add throughout the month. I think it is more fun to build decorations on a daily ...

Michael's

The Michael's near me had the Lemax spooky town stuff out since mid-July. This weekend I noticed them stocking the shelves with lots more Halloween goodies. The big box stores are deep in back to school, which means that Halloween is around the corner. NFL pre-season began this past week and college...
