Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

We always carve a real pumpkin or two.
We all dress up..3 kids and mom and dad (we don't collect candy though)
We decorate somewhere in the house, last year was the witches kitchen, this year the porch-inside and out. As well, as smaller things throughout the house.
We trick or treat at family's ...

I was thinking of doing that for our misc. costumes or one on those vacuum seal bags, they hold a lot and don't take up much room and that's what we need for our attic.

My dd loves both TNBC and Corpse bride. I need to buy another tote tub to be able to put everything away..the thing is dh bought an extra one in case and now I need another...lol

Hopefully, next year I'll be more organized and can have a display that looks atleast a 1/4 as good as yours!

This year my niece is having a pumpkin carving party so I guess we're going to do that on the 27th. Maybe the start of a new tradition.

The video's take forever to load for me .... dialup but I did watch them both...and I did like the skeleton..lol..can't wait to try it..

I made a bottle of glow water.
I just smashed it with a hammer. I let it soak overnight and all the ink came out.
Only the yellow works. I tried the pink, blue and green. The pink turns orangey but doesn't have a great glow like the yellow.

I didn't find the amount of water effected the glow ...

They call them clings, so you assume they are reusable like window clings but they aren't. I had misc. bugs last year that I put down and they had to be thrown away.

I got that sticker for .50 after Halloween!

I got the sticker at the great canadian dollar store.

I love the fact that the metal spiders look real.
I found them at a hardware storoe! $5.99 marked down to $2!
My cousin, Louise it terrified of spiders and is dreading coming to our house but the kids really want her to come...lol...she is going to cuss under her breath the whole time.

those look awesome..next year I'm going to take the time and do them right.
I tried tea dying my paper but it doesn't have the same effect and we don't drink coffee...lol..I do have some walnut ink but couldn't find it.
